Home information packs

Following recent government legislation, it is now necessary to have a home information pack (HIP) produced for your property when it is put on the market.

Although at present it is not necessary to have the HIP completed before your property goes on the market, a “ready to market” HIP with three components of the whole HIP must be in place for your agent to make your property for sale.

The three key components of a ready to market HIP are as follows:

  • Land registry or title documentation
  • Energy performance certificate
  • Property information questionnaire
